Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 2026 · traden ("From one batch to the next") governs all platform boosts, promotional services, and peer-to-peer student item exchanges under this policy.
1. Peer-to-Peer Transactions
traden operates strictly as a student discovery and listing platform. We do not process checkout payments, hold escrow, or handle product exchange money between buyers and sellers. All financial settlements for items (books, notes, electronics, etc.) happen directly between users during offline meetups.
2. Boost & Promotional Payments
Any optional boost or featured listing payments made on traden are strictly non-refundable. A boost only increases digital visibility and discovery for the selected duration and does not guarantee a successful sale.
3. No Returns or Platform Refunds
Since traden is not a party to the actual product exchange, we do not entertain return, exchange, or refund claims for items bought from other students. Buyers are strongly advised to inspect items thoroughly during campus meetups before making any payment.
4. Dispute Resolution
Any disagreement regarding product condition, pricing, or handover must be resolved mutually between the buyer and seller. While users can report fraudulent behaviour or scams to administrators for account suspension, traden bears no financial liability for completed trades.
